Guide
How Journal Find works
1. Submit your abstract
Paste your abstract on the home page. Add optional title, keywords, and instructions (for example prefer EU editorial boards). We need your email to notify you when results are ready.
2. Analysis runs in the background
This is not instant. A background worker discovers matching journals and enriches them with verified data: SCImago metrics, OpenAlex topic density, publisher review times, editorial board geography, JIF and CiteScore where publicly available.
Typical wait: 10–25 minutes once processing starts. You can close the tab — we email you when done. Watch the public analysis queue anytime.
3. Preview, then download
On the run page, tap a file to preview it (PDF document, CSV table, Excel sheet, or summary). Download the full pack with one button, or download a single file from the preview or the file row.
- Excel — full journal database with all columns
- PDF — visual report with charts and tiers
- CSV — shortlist for quick filtering
Extended pass
Standard (included) discovers about 20 abstract-specific journals. Extended is a one-time pass that raises that to about 40 and enables deeper scraping when the worker supports it. No monthly renewal.
Data honesty policy
We only include verified publisher and index data. If a metric is not publicly available, the cell stays blank with a grey explanation — we never guess or fabricate numbers.
Limits
3 analyses per email per day, 10 per IP per day. Abstract max 8,000 characters.
Status page
After submitting you land on /runs/[id] — bookmark it or use the link in your email. Example: https://journal-find.6x7.gr/runs/your-run-id
